UNIRISCHTER
-
Rust Converter Primer |
| |
|
Rusting of iron is like a cancer to metal
especially iron. Iron reacts with
atmospheric oxygen and moisture resulting in
the formation of Ferric Hydro Oxide or
Ferrosso Ferric Oxide, causing the formation
of scales on the metal surface. This is
called rust. The loose rust propagates
further rusting, giving rise to rust flakes
on the surface. |
| |
|
Chemistry at its best. |
| |
|
UNIRISCHTER rust converter is a
revolutionary, hi-tech product that reverses
the process of rusting.
UNIRISCHTER with its reactive polymer reacts
with the inner surface of the rust and
attains a passivated state without losing
the strength of the metal.
UNIRISCHTER when applied on the surface of
the metal changes to a blackish coloured
protective coating film. This marks the end
of rusting or corrosion of the metal
surface.
UNIRISCHTER has a very good polymer film
forming ability which imparts an anti
corrosive coat. |

LOSSES DUE TO CORROSION |
| |
-
Dangerous damage to plant and
equipments.
-
Lowering of the life of the plant and
equipment.
-
Costly repairs.
-
Production output losses.
-
Affects product quality.
-
Safety hazard to employees.
-
Unexpected shut downs.

THE UNBEATABLE ADVANTAGE OF UNIRISCHTER -
Rust Converter Primer |
| |
-
Simple application by brush, roller or
by dip, or spray method can be used for
application.
-
UNIRISCHTER can accept various types of
top coats and paints.
-
Complex cleaning is not required due to
the fact that basic rust is converted to
a complex organo metallic compound
forming a protective film on the
surface.
-
UNIRISCHTER has surpassed the industrial
standard of withstanding +300 hours of
salt spray test as per ASTM B117
-
UV resistant for more than +300 hours
(when tested in reputed laboratories in
India and abroad.)
-
Labour cost saving is clearly visible as
the amount of work to be done on the job
before application is drastically
reduced.
-
UNIRISCHTER is temperature
resistant upto 200° C

APPLICATION METHOD FOR UNIRISCHTER -
Rust Converter Primer |
| |
|
1. Remove loose adhering rust with the use
of wire brush. Ensure rust, old paint and
loose scales are removed.
Any rust remaining after this operation can remain as the UNIRISCHTER converts the rust into a stable
compound. |
| |
|
2. For application remove the contents from
the factory packed container into any non
metallic container. Suitable
dilution in case spray application is to be done, ensure that
for dilution sweet water in a non metallic
container
is used and the contents are not held for a long time in the
spray gun. |
| |
3. UNIRISCHTER when applied appears dark
brown to blackish depending upon the degree
of rust formation on
the base metal from less to heavy. This layer is touch dry
Within 60 minutes depending on Ambient
conditions. |
| |
4. Left over UNIRISCHTER should not be mixed
with the fresh factory packed material and
should be thrown away.
As this will deteriorate the entire contents of rust
converter. |
| |
5. UNIRISCHTER is a one coat treatment
however best results are obtained with two
coats. A second coat applied
after the first coat has dried hard is generally recommended
for better life. |
| |
|
6. UNIRISCHTER also accepts various types of
top coats and paints. |
